Why is it that women will always try to find a reason to “one up” each other?

If it isn’t with looks when we are teenagers, it’s parenting once we have children, then back to trying to “one up” each other with who can get their “pre-baby body” back. Where and when does it seriously stop?

As easy as it is to blame the media one body image or social media with people who will say how great they are parenting yet they’re on their cells while their child is acting out for their attention. The truth of the matter is we as the human race are to blame, instead of breaking each other down or trying to “one up” each other we should take a moment to empower each other. We all have our weaknesses and our strengths, have been through our own definitions of “rough” but when it comes down to it kindness is free and we need to sprinkle that stuff everywhere.
